onsie: target | hair bow: bloomies handmade weight & height: 12 pounds 1 ounce and 23.58 inches long. I'm in the 91% percentile for height and the 68% for weight, so I guess you could say that I'm a fairly tall and skinny baby. :) eating & sleeping: I still really love Mom's milk, so eating is going really well! I eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours during the day, and just recently started sleeping for a longer stretch during the night, giving both Mom & me a better night's rest! I'm still not sleeping all the way through the night, but we're working on it! exciting firsts/milestones: This month I decided that it would be really neat to try out the swimming pool before summer ends and I LOVED it! The cold water was a little shocking at first, but as long as I had Mom or Dad hugging me close I thought it was tons of fun! things I love: I really love tummy time with Mommy and hanging out in my "fun chair" (the toys above it are so fun to look at!) I also really like listening to music, and my current favorites are the Beatles along with other music from the 60's and 70's, and Death Cab for Cutie's "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" is my favorite song to listen to as a lullaby. I still love spending time with people, and think it's great when Mom and Dad go out with friends because it means there's more people to look at and play with! things I don't enjoy so much: My two least favorite things right now are being cold and shots, which makes visits to the doctor's office a little rough. :( My doctors are really nice though and try really hard to make the visit as easy as possible, making it slightly less terrible. mom & dad's biggest parenting lesson so far: Since last month's update, Dad started his fall semester at school and Mom started nannying little "H" again, so both of them have been working really hard to get down a healthy balance between work, family, and school. Mom bought a big planner to help her keep her head on straight and stay organized which seems to be helping, and Dad has been working to get into a routine that gives him enough sleep and time to study. I'm still with Mom all day while she nanny's H, and every day we all try to do something fun together as a family, even if it's just for a short while. Weekends especially have become big family days for us and we love it! Luckily we all love each other a whole bunch, so even when life gets really busy we can all just take a big breath, hug each other tight, and know that together we can get through anything. :) Lots of Love! {Emery Rose & Mama (Chelsea) Pett}
