weight & height: 20.6 pounds and 27 (ish) inches long. According to these numbers not much has changed since last month, but we've heard that the growing slows down a bit the older I get so we'll take it! eating & sleeping: I'm still going to bed around 8 at night and will usually sleep until about 8:30 the next morning. Along with my two bottom teeth, I also have a total of 4 new teeth coming in up top, so lately I've loved trying more solid foods in addition to my regular baby food and milk. My favorite "solid" treats so far are the Happy Baby yogis (freeze-dried yogurt and fruit snacks) but puffs are a close second. exciting firsts/milestones: Along with my four new top teeth coming through, this past month I reached a really big milestone by starting to crawl! On the morning of March 12th, Daddy was playing toys with me and was setting up a tower from my stackable cups. I thought that it needed to be knocked over, so I pushed myself up and crawled right over to it to knock it down! Since that morning I've gotten really fast at it and am constantly crawling and trying to find new things to explore! things I love: Since learning how to crawl, I've really loved getting into everything that I can. This includes garbage cans, electrical cords, the "on" button on Daddy's xbox, and the shelves on the entertainment center. Mommy says that I've been working really hard to help her see all the places in her house that she thought were baby proof that actually aren't. 😉 I also love playing with toys, talking and playing with people (as always) and anything that lights up and/or makes sounds. I've also learned how to clap my hands, and love doing that whenever I feel like it's appropriate. things I don't enjoy so much: Overall I'm a pretty content baby, but one thing lately that I haven't loved very much is having to get clothes put on. Whether it be my outfit for the day or my pajamas for bedtime, I'll squiggle and squirm as much as possible and try to get away from Mom before she's able to get the clothes over my head. I also don't care for wearing socks or shoes, and will usually kick them off of my feet within two minutes of them being put on. At this stage of baby life, I've found that a diaper and bow is really all I need, and I'm still trying to get Mommy and Daddy on board with my mindset. 😜 mom & dad's biggest parenting lesson so far: This past month my friend H got a new baby sister, so while he spends time with her and his mommy, me and my Mommy have had the chance to have a lot more one-on-one time together. Daddy also had his spring break from school, so on top of getting more time with Mommy we also had the chance to spend more time with Daddy as well. It's not so much a lesson this month, but Mommy and Daddy both have talked this month about just how much they appreciate the family time that we've been able to have together, and just how much we want to make sure that we don't waste a single second of it. ❤️
